Therapy

Sankalpa has supported Continua Kids in offering the following therapies:

• Physiotherapy: Neuro-developmental physiotherapy for promoting increased mobility, strength, postural control, flexibility, coordination, core stabilization, and gross motor skills in children
• Occupational Therapy: Imparting skills for participating in everyday living through occupation. "Occupation" here includes things that children want to and are expected to do
• Speech Therapy: An intervention service focusing on improving children's speech and ability to understand and express language
• Music Therapy: Using music as therapeutic relationship to address physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of children
• Applied Behavior Analysis: A scientifically proven technique to reduce unwanted and reinforce the desired behavior
• Aquatic Therapy: The use of water and specifically designed activities to aid in the restoration and maintenance of function in children with acute or chronic disabilities and diseases

Such CSR activities are currently being undertaken for

Their donations have been used to create a sensory room for imparting therapy to children with autism. Sankalpa also sponsors 600 therapies every month.

Infrastructure

Sankalpa has also enabled healthcare interventions to help uniquely-abled kids. It has partnered with Continua (Center of Neurotherapy in Uniquely Abled Kids), a multi-specialty center that offers various therapies to help kids with neurological problems including cerebral palsy, autism, attention deficit hyper activity disorder, learning disability, Down's Syndrome perform to the best of their unique abilities.

Sankalpa supported Continua in designing its Gurgaon facility in strict accordance with international guidelines. Spread over 5,000 sq. ft., the centre focuses on high quality patient care. Through its association with Sankalpa, Continua has become the first centre in North India to offer intelligent patient monitoring systems with clinical decision support application and a completely paperless environment through a seamless integration with the Hospital Information System.

Computer Literacy

Imparting computer skill development to underprivileged children is another good cause which Sankalpa supports, while working in close partnership with Genpact India Private Limited.

Genpact has donated 10 computers which are used to train uniquely abled young adults to help them become employable and self-reliant. Sankalpa is further enrolling more under-privileged children who will be introduced to the world of technology through computer education.

Sankalpa charitable trusts supports these initiatives through donations and consultations with all undertakings managed by Mr. Anil Kumar Goyal, Mr. Ravi Dev Gupta and Mrs. Ila Goyal.

Sahodaya Senior Secondary School

Dedicated towards providing education to children from deprived sections of society.
